How do I pay?

Best Cars Rental offers, through its website, a secure online booking system. When you submit your request, our reservation department will perform a final availability check and reply back within a few hours with details on how to proceed with the payment through your credit card via our secure payment platfrom.

Is my credit card safe?

For credit card payments Best Cars Rental is working with one of the most established banks of Greece EUROBANK (www.eurobank.gr). All credit card payments are processed through VISA verified Secure Socket Layer ("SSL"). SSL encrypts your personal information and passwords. Your credit card details will not be stored and are available only to you and the credit card providers.

What is the deposit amount required for the confirmation of my reservation?

After the availability confirmation the client is obligated to deposit 10% of the agreed price in advance.

The remaining rental fee must be paid upon car pick up.

Is a Credit Card required upon car pick up?

No Credit Card is required.

Can I cancel my reservation?

  • The renter can cancel their reservation with no charge up 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup date. For later cancelations, the deposit amount is non-refundable.
  • Once the contract has been signed, the rental amount of unused days is non-refundable.
  • If the driver’s license is missing upon car pick up, the company has the right to cancel the booking, in which case the deposit is non-refundable.

Can I pick up or drop off my vehicle at any preferred location within Crete?

Customers are free to choose the pick up and drop off point (Airport, Hotel, City or Village).

Best Cars Rental offers free of charge vehicle pick up and drop off at Chania Airport/ Port, Heraklion Airport/ Port, Rethymno Port and all central locations within Crete.

Vehicle delivery/ collection far from city limits is customized upon request and in some cases extra charges may apply.

How much does it cost to add an additional driver?

Up to 2 additional drivers can be added free of charge.

 

What if I have a problem or an accident with the car?

In case you face an unfortunate incident with the car, you should immediately contact us at +302831074424 or +306944823838 (available 24/7).

What happens if I return the car late?

There is a 60-minute grace period. After the grace period has expired, charges may apply.

Is the off-road driving allowed?

Off road driving is not allowed. 

The vehicle must not be operated on any unauthorized roads (ie. Balos).

What if my flight is delayed?

During the booking process, we ask you to provide us with the full flight details for your arrival flight. (i.e. flight number, etc.)

If the correct flight details have been provided to our reservations department, our representative will track your flight and will be waiting for you in case of a late or early arrival.

For any last-minute flight change, you should inform us immediately.

What about after-hours car deliveries?

After office hours (22h00-08h00), there is an extra delivery fee of 25€.

Can I remove the seats or the load cover from the rental car?

No, you are not allowed to remove any of the seats or the load cover of your rental car.
